AnnexM is a high speed version of ADSL2+ which allows faster upload speeds.
Results vary depending on the same factors that impact ADSL but users can expect improved speeds of anywhere from 1.6 to 2.75Mbps.

what are the benefits?

This constraint is known as the upstream speed limitation available to you using standard ADSL. AnnexM overcomes this by increasing the upstream connection speed, allowing more traffic to flow through your ADSL connection.
